Free Individual Support Group (Zoom)
Welcome to Suntra’s Individual Support Group for People with Addiction
The Individual Support Group is an open group designed to provide peer support for people with addiction. There are no requirements for this group, anyone can attend. We welcome folks who are in recovery, thinking about recovery, or people who are sober-curious and just checking things out. We encourage everyone to attend—we don’t care what you used, or who you used it with—our goal is to give people a safe place to learn, grow, and thrive.
This group is open to all who wish to attend (you don’t have to be a Suntra client).
Suntra support groups are designed to reinforce and empower anyone that’s been affected by substance use disorder, alcoholism, or addiction. This isn’t a 12-step meeting, but we do encourage involvement in 12-step (AA, NA) programs, or any organized peer support group, including SMART recovery and Recovery Dharma. And if you’re in the New York area, we’d love it if you stop by and connect with your local recovery community. Our goal is to provide a supportive network where individuals and families can learn about the disease of addiction, and share their experience, strength and hope with other families with similar experiences.
