But while inpatient treatment is successful for some, this one-size-fits-all approach to recovery doesn't work for everyone. Many people suffering from addiction graduate from an inpatient rehab facility, only to find themselves back in detox or rehab (or both) less than a year later.

We've all heard the stories about Ambien. It's an often-prescribed sleep aid that can have dangerous consequences if misused. Ambien is a sedative-hypnotic drug and works by slowing down the activity of the brain, allowing people to fall asleep. But Ambien can be addictive, with some users experiencing Ambien addiction and withdrawal symptoms when trying to quit taking Ambien.

It's likely that a substantial portion of cannabis users experience minimal side effects and little to no consequences from occasional use. But unfortunately, people with addiction issues don't respond to mind-altering substances the way the average person might.
